Rhythm Base offer an unrivalled standard of tuition catering for all levels of player.

Lessons are available seven days a week on a one-to-one basis within our dedicated teaching rooms. Both rooms feature acoustic kits as standard – we do not teach on electronic kits.

We have four experienced tutors covering all styles and levels.

Head tutor Gary Montgomery has been active on the Glasgow music scene for many years now and has established himself as a pro teacher.

His drumming influences include Jeff Porcaro and Gary Novak, while his teaching method is heavily influenced by drum tutor to-the-stars Gary Chaffee.

He is no stranger to major drum events having performed with Drums of Black Bottle at the Modern Drummer Festival in 2001 alongside such names as Gary Novak, Cindy Blackman and Virgil Donati.

Gary has also graced the stage at the Montreal Drum Festival and at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention (PASIC) - the largest percussion event in the world.

Lesson prices start at just £12.00 for a 30min lesson and £24.00 an hour.
