Drummer Ron Thaler: Back in Glasgow

2 Special Masterclasses: At Rhythm Base on Monday August 4th and Tuesday August 5th (7pm), £15.

Ron is back for a third swing through Glasgow after his successful Rhythm Base masterclasses last year.

He'll share his grand experience on modern studio drumming - concepts such as "building from the ground up", "individuality and phrasing", and some of his unique and jaw-dropping drumset technical builders.

Ask Ron questions, share with him your thoughts, and get inside the head of one of todays most accomplished and in-demand drummers.

Since last year Ron has been busy playing on and producing Jason Yudoff's 2008 Grammy nominated 'Tragic Hero' album.

Alicia Keys single 'No One', which won a 2008 Grammy win for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance, also featured Ron's sampled drum work.
